When drinking alcohol there is many things that you should have buried in the back of your head when taking that first sip. Alcohol can come with many consequences such like getting your licenses taken away to even going to jail, affecting the body majorly, and becoming addicted or abusing alcohol. When getting into the car while being under the influence there is many consequence’s you should take into consideration like licenses being taken away, jail time, a felony being on your record, and paying some big fines. When a cop pulls you over and they suspect you’re under the influence they can ask you to take a breathalyzer. A breathalyzer detects how much blood alcohol content you have in your body by one breath. If you deny the test you automatically …show more content…

Alcohol can damage the brains communication pathways and can affect the way the brain looks and works. It changes the mood and the behavior of a person. Study show that when being a chronic drinker they are more than likely to become an angry person. Drinking alcohol can damage the heart by Cardiomyopathy which is stretching and drooping of the heart muscle, Arrhythmias which is an irregular heartbeat, stroke and higher blood pressure. Research also shows that drinking can lower how much a person fights off heart disease. The liver is damaged the most when drinking alcohol the liver is effected in these ways Steatosis, Alcoholic hepatitis, Fibrosis, and Cirrhosis. Alcohol causes the pancreas to produce toxic substances that eventually lead to inflammation and swelling of the blood vessels which then prevents proper digestion. Alcohol can also higher the risk of cancers. The type of cancers you are at higher risk of receiving is mouth, esophagus, throat, liver and breast. When drinking it also effects your immune system. The way it effects your immune system is by weaken it and making your body an easier target for catching diseases.
