Donald Glover Research Paper

My favorite musician is Donald Glover because he is a very good artist and is very influential when he sings/raps. We will go through his background before he became a widely known artist, his influences on the world through his music, how he perceived in the public today and interesting facts about him and his career.
Donald Glover was born on September 25, 1983, in Edwards’s air force base; California U.S.A. Glover was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia by his parents Beverly smith (mother) and Donald sr. (father). On June 5, 2008, Donald Glover under his stage name (that he got from a wu tang name randomizer) Childish Gambino released his independent album titled “Sick Boi”. His music career started to take off after his first release. Because of the attention, he was receiving Glover decided to then release a couple more (independent) albums and songs titled “Poindexter”, “I am just a rapper”, “I am just a rapper 2” and “Culdesac”. Glover hit his music peek when he released the album “Camp”. This specific album attracted no only the public but record studios such as “Glassnote records”. It was not long until he decided to sign under an album label that helped become known as childish Gambino. He then was introduced into the production and creation

The impact that Gambino’s music has had on the world is globally and through the way, he relates to an individual’s personal issues and subjects. In addition, people relate to his music through his lyrics. He talks about re-life topics that anyone can relate to in his songs. The effect he had on music was vastly massive; he changed how people looked at his music or him personally. Nevertheless, even though Glover does try to connect to the world through his music sometimes he feels more alien that before “It seems like the more I try to connect with the world, I am feeling more alone than I ever have been
