Another worldly recognized domestic violence against men is intimate partner violence . Observing and analyzing the growing rate of domestic violence against men in Britain, United Kingdom is now slowly taking up steps in this regard. Previously law didn’t provide or permit any law for men suffering from domestic violence. In comparison with laws for woman suffering from domestic violence to male’s law, there are no such new laws that have been formulated to protect men, yet milestones like awareness program are being initiated in the society to broaden consciousness about the domestic violence present against men. Questionnaire Mode was used in the study and hypothesis were generated in various aspect like relationship of domestic violence to race, income status, feelings of self-worth based, age, tendency of return of victim to the relationship, tendency of leaving the family. The study uses variables and was selected from the dataset, “Violence and threat of Violence against Women and Men in the United States, 1994-1996”. To test the hypothesis, Contingency table analysis was used. The variables of age, race, relationship status, individual income, inadequacy, frightness, slap or hit, victims leaving spouse or partner and current spouse or partner leaving partner were cross tabulated. The chi square statistic was used to test and determine the significance of the relationship. Statistical Package for social sciences was used to run the analysis of the results. For income level, 12.5% stated that they had an income under 10,000, 27.5% stated that their income was ranging from 10,000-25,000, 37.5% were accounted for in come 25,000-50,000, 18.1% were accounted for 50,000 to 100,000 and approximately 4.4% had income over 100,000. The variable of whether does the respondent think that domestic violence is a problem was compared by race. Majority (60.6%) that it was more of a problem for men today. Approximately 3.7% stated that it was less of a problem meaning that domestic violence is less of an issue for men today. 35.7% stated that issue of domestic violence was about the same. In comparison to income and relationship status, approximately 6,600 of 8,000 respondents that some type of income was accounted, 815 males had an income under 10,000, 212 were married and 603 were unmarried which accounted 12.4%. Around 1,020 married and 786 unmarried males had an income ranging 10,000 to 20,000 which accounted for 27.6%. Approximately, 1,801 married and 657 unmarried males had an income that ranged from 25,000 to 50,000 which is accounted for 37.5%.
