Handling business in Germany with confidence can be tough for individuals who don’t comprehend its business culture. Germany is a society with strict cultural components that are clearly delimited; discipline, freedom, individuality, status, and respect are the evident components translated to a business. In Germany, history, management style, and also business structures and interactions are factors that make this country unique; the knowledge and understanding of these specific cultural boundaries can make the difference between success and failure in the business arena.
Regardless of the challenges that represent the integration of the former East Germany, and after overpass the European crisis in 2008 Germany's democracy and economy appears strong and healthy, low unemployment and high levels of exports. It is remarkable to note that Germany’s economic power is basically based in manufacturing. Few years in the past, recognized economists and sociologist criticize and sustain that the German model was weak, the social costs were thought to be way too elevated, and that the nation was not arranged to deal with this challenge, based in the possible outcomes created for the difference in the political system. Time demonstrated that a clear state policy and a legitimate government avoid the negative scenario, that is not the perfect one but allow Germany to overpass difficulties, continue working in the difficulties and maintained a political and economic systems reliable.

Adaptation to change is not easy; when change occurs has to be fail proof. The German though and planning process is very time intensive but once is developed is highly efficient. Roles and responsibilities are specific and communication is direct. As an extension of a culture, businesses also are goal oriented, at the same time business relations are strictly formal, status is given for ascription. The better knowledge of these patterns will give to managers the tools to develops successful business and the opportunities to reconcile dilemmas.
