It was a bright, sunny April day in Canton, Michigan of 2000. The weather was just right for a young 8 year old boy named Dinkle Williams to take his first steps out in the new environment. Dinkle was playing on the swing at the tree when his mother came out. Mrs. Williams, says “Dinkle, it time to eat you lunch,” through the window. “Ok mom,” Dinkle said and ran at a frequent pace to the door. Dinkle’s mother set out a plate with a PB&J sandwich, a bowl of grapes, and a cold glass of lemonade. “MMMM,” said Dinkle all nice and full. She turned back and answered, “There’s nothing there Dinkle, just relax you’ve had a long day.” Dinkle looked again and she was right, the creature was gone. He was a frozen block of ice the rest of the way home. When they arrived home, Dinkle went straight to his room to forget that creature at the doctor’s office. As he was sleeping in his bed, there was a whisper in his ears and all he could hear is, “Needles, points, unknown.” He opened his eyes to see that there was something at the edge of his bed, it was terrifying; it had giant needles for hands, giant feet with sharp tough nails, and with a disgusting eyes looking back at him. He could smell those chemicals from the needles all throughout his bed Dinkle was so terrified that he hid in his covers like solid snake and could not sleep for the rest of the night. Morning came around with Mrs. Williams yelling out, “Dinkle; breakfast time.” Dinkle woke up and removed the covers. The creature was gone and ran down stairs to eat some homemade pancakes with a glass of orange juice. Williams said in a shock, “Dinkle, there is no monster, there never was.” Dinkle says in a scared voice, “I wish I could believe that too, but I can’t.” Months went by and the creature just became worse and worse. Dinkle could only see him at first, but it knew how to scare him even more; first Dinkle was eating some soup with a spoon and that creature made him pick up a fork to make him feel a sharp pinch in his mouth. Next, it made Dinkle taste its poison from the needles and put it in his water bottle. Then for the finisher, it made sure that Dinkle saw him everywhere he when so no matter where he goes, it will be there. A year has gone by and the creature was still bugging Dinkle and he was sick of it. He wanted to get rid of him so bad but didn’t know how, and then his mother came to the rescue and told him that they haft to go to the doctors for a check up again. Dinkles thought that would be perfect, if he could be brave when the doctor gives him the shot, the monster would go away. They arrive at the doctor’s office and had to wait for a little bit. Dinkle looks at his mom with a smile and then he sees the creature, but it looked different; it grew larger and meaner. Then they were called to a room to see the doctor.
