ISFJ strengths are that we are supportive, we share knowledge, experience, time and energy with anyone who needs it. They are also reliable and patient, loyal and hardworking. I think these really explain who I am because I like to think I'm all of those things. I tried to always be better than the person I was yesterday and that takes a lot of dedication and hard work. Rosa Louise McCauley Parks historically known as Rosa Parks, was born February 4,1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama and past away from natural causes at age 92, on October 24,2005 in Detroit, Michigan. Parks lived with her mother Leona McCauley and her father James McCauley. Ater on in 115 her brother was born Sylvester Parks her only sibling.Both of park’s parents worked, her mother was employed as a teacher and her father was employed as a carpenter . Some time later after Parks’s brother was born her mother and father separated. Do you know why Rosa Parks is a hero? She helped a lot in this world and if it wasn’t for her our world would still be like in the old times. When she stated, “The only tired I was, was tired of giving in” (Parks cover), that’s when she decided to do something for her and her people. “When that happened, we black people were supposed to give up our seats to the whites. But I didn’t move”, this is how it all started (Parks pg. 1). Rosa Parks was a hero because she made change in the civil-rights movement, compelled to end segregation.
Viola Desmond and Rosa Parks are very much alike for a number of reasons, however, they do have their differences. I will be comparing their stories, the result of their acts and how they influence/affected others. Hero’s can also be someone who has made a change in the world and or a society like Rosa Parks. Rosa Parks is considered a hero because of all the things she went through and made happen throughout her life.
I feel like Rosa Parks is a very good influence, and I think this because she represented a form of freedom. She lead the way alongside others for freedom and justice, she felt like she was going to make a difference in the world and she did. Rosa was also known as Rosa Louise McCauley Parks, her birth name, she was born February 4, 1913 in Tuskegee Alabama. And had a brother and her parents were a huge influence on her to become a civil rights activist and get what she and her community deserved.
When comparing two leaders, people tend to look at the characteristics, or leadership, traits that the person has. Even if the two people seem like an unlikely pair, it is the traits that prove the similarities. Courage, confidence and initiative are traits that both Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth President of the United States, and Rosa Parks, a civil rights activist, demonstrated during their time of leadership.
Rosa Parks was an African American woman who was brave enough to stand up to the whites. Even though she went to jail for what she did, she believes she did the right thing. What Rosa had done on the bus started boycotts and created more and more activists. People wonder if Rosa Parks was raised to stand up for herself or if she was supposed to stay quiet. Looking at Rosa’s life and what happened on the bus and beyond, it can be concluded that she was taught to take pride in her race.
My results said that I have an ISFJ personality. My scores were introvert (56%), Sensing (31%), Feeling (16%), and Judging (44%). The assessment stated that ISFJs frequently find themselves in occupations that either involves a lot of dealings with other people and require thoroughness and persistence. They work in organizations of various sizes and industries, where as a rule they work with people. Very often ISFJs recognize their potential in healthcare (nurse, patient care, and medical services, as well as administrative jobs) and several community care organizations. I do agree with some of the Jung Typology Seal assessments. I agree with being an introvert since I am a person that is reserved and to myself half of the time, but, on the other hand, I do like to serve others. I do not agree that I am overworked. If I get to the point to where I feel overworked, I will go to my boss and discuss the matter, so that I can get help with my work before resulting in some of extent psychosomatic illnesses. I agree with the part about working best with a small group or one-on-one situation. I also agree with the traditional careers for ISFJs attitude that include: teaching, social work, most religious work, nursing, clerical and secretarial work of any kind, and some
