Dick And Perry In Truman Capote's In Cold Blood

181 Words1 Page

In the book In Cold Blood by Truman Capote what two individuals did you choose to compare their relationship to each other? The two characters I chose was Dick and Perry because through the book they spend the most time together. Perry wants Dick to think of him as much the manly type as he considers Dick to be. Dick is latching onto Perry for his killer instincts because of the story told dick in the car. That is why I chose Perry and Dick. Perry character in the books seems like mostly the more of the sensitive type out of him and Dick. During Perry childhood he was quite lonely and disorganized. Perry wants to be very much educated. In the book on page “insert page” it states “insert statement” meaning he is quite keen on learning more things.
