When most people travel, the drive to and from your destination is usually the worst part of taking a vacation. It is exhausting, kids can get annoying, and sitting in a vehicle for that long is never fun. My trip to Florida with my boyfriend and his family was absolutely catastrophic. Actually being in Florida was an amazing vacation, it was the drive there and back that was awful. It was not your average trip. Me and my boyfriend, Lance, had a trip to Florida planned with his dad’s side of the family. I had never even met his dad, so going on a vacation to meet that whole side of the family was very stressful. We were prepared this time, and we weren’t expecting anything to interrupt our trip home. We got maybe halfway home before Russ started having another panic attack. It was awful. He was having the same symptoms that he had had on our way to Florida. We took him to another hospital and it turned out he had taken another 5-hour energy shot without telling any of us. We were all livid with him. Of course we were still worried about him for his health, but we were still angry. We were at this hospital for hours. At this point, I was crying. I just wanted to go home. After Russ was treated and out of the hospital again, we drove to his mom’s house so that Ry, Russ, and Lily could stay there for the night. Lance and I took their car to get home, and we had to meet back up with them in Owensboro the next morning to get their car back to them. Actually being in Florida was an amazing vacation. It was the drive there and back that was terrible. I learned that I never want to take a 5-hour energy, ever. I believe that they are very bad for you. I also know that the next time I go on a vacation with this family, I am going to make sure that nobody gets any 5-hour energy drinks, or any kind of energy drink at all. My lesson has been
