“The perfect meal. An open-faced pie using tomato sauce, cheese, and any matter of toppings. Tastes like heaven and is sometimes stated to be better than a relationship.” It is in my opinion, that this quote is how pizza should taste. Heaven is often comparable to a satisfying piece of pizza after a long day of work. Some people say that pizza has the same taste everywhere you go, but I beg to differ. Of course, when a person goes from restaurant to restaurant, they will explore a variety of pizzas with a variety of tastes. Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High school’s pizza is completely different from Casey’s pizza.
The look of food is what draws me to eat something. Pizza has many different looks, some are gooey, cheesy, greasy, burnt, and many more. Smells are often associated with looks of food, and can also decipher whether I am going to eat it or not. The smell flowing through the air at Casey’s always draws me in to eat their pizza. I describe the smell as fresh pizza that just came out of the oven. Casey’s pizza looks like an average pizza you find at most restaurants. Their slice is triangular with a thin crust. At Casey’s general store, I can eat one or two slices and be fulfilled. My friends and I can go through a full Casey’s pizza and be satisfied for the rest of the day. On the other hand, GHV’s pizza doesn’t fill me. It leaves me hungry after I eat it with not enough fuel for the rest of the day. My stomach often growls for the remainder of the school day after we had pizza for our meal at lunch. I wonder if I would be more fulfilled if the lunch ladies offered different kinds of pizza. In Playing for Pizza the other uses various settings for the novel to be more realistic because they both are completely real places.
Is the Pizza from NYC/LI better than the rest of New York State and the rest of the country? According to most people from this region, the answer would be a resounding, Yes!. There are many factors in which LI pizza excels; crust, sauce, cheese, toppings. There are a couple of theories that account for the deliciousness and recognition that LI pizza gets. This pizza has recognition the world over and it the picture that people get when pizza is mentioned, is the New York style pizza. The bottom line is that Long Island and NYC have a superior tasting pizza when compared to the rest of the country.
For example, a cheese and pepperoni topping pizza at Domino’s is very popular because it is very tasty and delicious to many people and that is why they comeback to Domino’s. The satisfaction of a meal at Domino’s will consist of what type of pizza the customer will pick and either some chicken wings or chocolate cake added to the side. This meal will make a family very satisfied and their temptation of craving the meal again will comeback sometime later in the future, which will make them order again from Domino’s pizza. Another example, will be a dinner meal at Olive Garden, which consists of lasagna, bread sticks, and salad. This meal is very delicious and much healthier than the meal mentioned before this.
Usually, when a person walks into Panera Bread, the first thing that individual will notice is the smell. It often smells like bread or cheese in the store. Rather than relocating entirely, Chris kept the downtown spot and opened another Pizzeria Bianco, right back at Town and Country. The first time I heard about Hawaiian Pizza that includes pineapple on top, I cringed. When I saw it, I cringed harder, and when I first laid the doughy flatbread on my tongue, I cringed the hardest. As someone who loves pineapple and pizza separately and an avid food enthusiast, I know pizza. I have eaten plenty of pizzas before ranging from ordinary cheese to upscale vegan pizza. Pizza should be made with care, with love, and with delectable savory toppings selected with attentiveness. It is not meant to be randomly covered by a sugary tropical fruit.
