Favorite Place On Campus Who knew a single building could be the most relaxing place for students. This single building holds the key to all the resources on campus.With the peacefulness that it provides, the student’s journey to understanding whatever material he or she needs starts there. Everything that a student needs to succeed and make something out of themselves is provided in this building. From the books to the computers and the tutors provided, students are able to conquer anything that they need help me or might not understand. The library also assures the students a place where you can sit down and catch a breath from the chaos outside.
Just as you make your way to the library, you encounter stairs which to me resembles the climb to success. As you enter through the black mirrored double doors you allow yourself into the world of knowledge. You are greeted by a person behind the desk;she asks you if you need assistance which makes you feel welcomed. Once the students pass by the long narrow front desk and sit down he or she realizes that this space provides them some peace of mind. As your fingers take a break from flipping through pages and set themselves upon the table, they experience a cool effect from the top of the table. While you pick up books around the room you realize the books could either be as old to where it feels like you have your hand rubbing against hard sand paper or it could be smooth as butter. As you make your way to the corner where the bigger chairs are, you find yourself questioning the material of the fabric. Space is crucial when it comes to communicating, the space that you are surrounded by will shape all aspects of the communicating you do. Space is always communicating meaning and from the spaces I observed on campus and in the Student Center I drew meaning from them which allowed me to understand what each space is communicating and what see how each space encouraged or hindered communication. In this paper I will explain my critiques as well as my approval of the quad on campus and the Student Center, I also will give students opinions how the Student Center succeeds or fails in encouraging communication and lastly give my ideas of how space in the quad as well as the Student Center can be improved to encourage a greater level of communication.

In conclusion, the school should solve the housing problems for students regarding cost and small dormitories. To do so, the school should contract with apartments near Seattle central or extend the small dormitory. Furthermore, the school should stand up for student’s positions. The school should acknowledge the necessities of needing to improve these problems. If these problems are solved, students can put all their effort into studying and the school can retain competent students.
Standing on the balcony, I gazed at the darkened and starry sky above. Silence surrounded me as I took a glimpse at the deserted park before me. Memories bombarded my mind. As a young girl, the park was my favourite place to go. One cold winter’s night just like tonight as I looked upon the dark sky, I had decided to go for a walk. Wrapped up in my elegant scarlet red winter coat with gleaming black buttons descending down the front keeping away the winter chill. Wearing thick leggings as black as coal, leather boots lined with fur which kept my feet cozy.
Naples is a very unique city that attracts people from all over the world to its beautiful surroundings. Amongst the pristine beaches and championship golf courses, a teenager can find many entertaining locations. One such area can be found in downtown Naples on Fifth Avenue. Along this stretch of road near the beach lies a vast array of shops, cafes, restaurants, and other establishments. Everyone has a special place that people will never forget. Sometimes it is because there were places that people experienced great joy or comfort. A special place represents peoples’ special memories either good or bad. Memory will following people whole life, and store people’s heart deeper. Good memory will coming all time. My special place and my memory is my grandparent’s house; my grandparent’s house practically is my second home. I would never forget that special place because of things going on my grandparent’s house, which is symbolized by my grandparent’s love.
This picture, probably the only one in existence of all my friends together, has more meaning than it seems. At first, it appears to be nothing more than a happy congregation of teenagers, all from the ages of fifteen to sixteen. In the background you can see a fence enclosing a sand volleyball court. My friends that are kneeling on the bottom row are Shawn (who is affectionately known as Goose because of his long neck and his last name being Gosselin) and Paul. The ones on the top row are, from left to right, Brad, Matt, Kayla, Charlie, Jenny, Greg, Brent, and Daniel. I am at the far right side. You can tell by the expressions on some of their faces, especially Paul's, that they weren't quite ready for the picture to be taken, for more reasons than one. First, there was someone else taking a picture at the same time. Also, most of them never could have guessed that the picture would have to be taken in the first place. After all, I was supposed to be with them forever, right? Wrong. This was my going-away party.
“Oh, why didn’t you say that? It’s over there,” said sheen, pointing down to the class at the end of the hallway. Sheen led them to their class and sat a seat behind from Jimmy. Jimmy sat down and put his ball under his chair. The class was very spacious with 4 rows of 4 individual desks. The desks were all facing a chalkboard that was located in the front of the class. In the back of the class were four computers on individual tables. The chairs near those desks were very low. There was a little space that was dark between the tables.

Having spent twelve years of my school life in just one small red brick building, the years tend to fade into each other. But the year I remember most clearly and significantly is my senior year of high school, where I finally began to appreciate what this institution offered to any student who stopped to look. Before, school had been a chore, many times I simply did not feel motivated toward a subject enough to do the homework well, and seeing the same familiar faces around ever since I was 5 years old grew very tiring soon enough. But I began to see things from a different angle once I became a senior.
Completing high school acts as a hallmark into the world of responsibility and maturity that is heralded by the college life. The two stages of life though completely dependent have been known to differ and be farther apart than any one may know. In high school, almost everything is termed as mandatory and prohibited, while in college, it is strongly suggested but no one is going to chase after the student to do something. Education and library worlds stand out as a reason for discussion. This then affected the reading habits that students have when in high school and how they slowly evolve as they get into college.
