Introduction
Background:
The term migration has been defined differently in various researches, articles and books and it remains very challenging to come up with a single definition. Even there is no universal definition of whom or what constitutes a migrant and the types of migration are also divers in nature (Fargues, 2006; International Organization for Migration (IOM), 2004). Whatever the definition of human migration is it mainly refers to movement of individuals from place to place. Like that of mortality and fertility migration plays its own role in population composition change but unlike the first two it relies on the will of individuals involved (Kainth, 2009; International Migration Report 2009, 2011; IOM, 2004; Zgourides and Zgourides, 2000; Valtonen, 2008).
International migration is a complex phenomena and it makes the subject not to have a single definition (Constantinescu & Constantinescu, n.d; Valtonen, 2008). Different authors define migration in their own way in various researches they conducted. Kainth (2009) and Kardulias and Hall (2006) explain migration as a reaction of humans to economic, social, political and demographic changes within a given society. IOM (2004) glossary defines international migration as “Movement of persons who leave their country of origin or the country of habitual residence, to establish their lives either permanently or temporarily in another country and usually cross an international frontier” (p.33).

Though the push and pull factors of migration are studied at different times, most of them declined to consider family members and friends roles in influencing youth’s decision to stay or leave. Thus the reason why I intend to conduct research in this topic is to investigate the real contribution of family members and friends in youth migration decision. Here my intention is to know what roles family members and friends play when an individual intends to migrate. Therefore in this research I will answer the question, how do returnee youths describe the influences made by their family members and friends during their decision to make migration? If this issue is studied well, it will lead us to know where the intervention should be employed.
