This was the third week of the team debate, and I was impressed with our progress. I was exhilarated by the thought of engaging in constructive argument amongst my team. We had been in constant interaction and communication throughout since the beginning of the task, which was pleasing. I had the utmost faith in my team, to fulfil their individually assigned roles. This week was extremely chaotic for most of our team members, especially with a few members writing exams, and our team leader being away on a field trip. It was, however pleasing that they were still able to communicate, and ensure that the team remained informed. I decided to assemble a draft copy of the task is was assigned, since I was going to be busy during the next week. I used the many journals sourced by my group members, which was extremely helpful. My task focused on "why DDT should be banned", therefore I based my work on the negative impacts of DDT on the environment and the health of humans. I also focused on past occurrences, which influenced communities. I was thoroughly enjoying this topic, as it included many different types of problems. I also found information on alternatives to DDT, which was less harmful and extremely effective. I was baffled by the production of DDT in the United States, since they banned the use of DDT in their country. I gathered as much information as I could and processed it. I had two other teammates working with me on this task, and it was reassuring, as they could fill in the gaps I had missed out. This topic was not straightforward, as it focused on a variety of aspects, which was informative. I was extremely grateful for our group choosing this topic, since I had already grasped large volumes of new information with respect to this topic, which was
