As with numerous moments in life, there has to be a balance and an understanding of what is best for oneself and for those who matter. People are divergent, along with having their own opinions and way of handling situations. Being a perfectionist comes at a decent price, especially when trying to accomplish projects or reach goals that are set by our own person. One of the moments in my life that has impacted me in more ways than one, was my Christmas disaster from a couple years ago. Each individual was assigned a certain task to handle, and luckily for me, I was designated to decorate the interior of the house. I could not be prouder of myself and my instructors who were able to bring back my passion for dance. I am forever thankful for what they were able to provide me with. Dedication, encouragement, and belief. Although I no longer compete, I continue to dance daily. I have even begun working as a dance instructor myself for little children at my instructors’ studio. I feel that I am fully prepared for anything that life has to throw at me. I am, wholeheartedly, looking forward to the life I have ahead of me, and I have my family to thank for providing me with the confidence to face fresh challenges. Along with my family and friends’ support, I have managed to fall in love with myself and my own personality. I learned to overcome various obstacles along with how to handle new hardships. I continue to grow as an individual every day of my life, along with facing new situations and environments and learning to adapt to these changes. I am still in the process of trying not to completely overthink every single detail of my life, but I am, nevertheless, making progress. I truly feel grateful for all the moments in my life that have led me to become the person I am today, along with getting to know and love who I truly am.
