DALE
Look, I would like him to die sooner than later then maybe I wouldn’t have to be responsible for financing this fine establishment.
FAY
Like I’ve told you before. We have services available to help with an financial burdens.
DALE
I don’t need the help, thank you.
FAY
Mr. Edwards, there is no reason to be prideful.
Dale wrestles to get his wallet out of his back pocket.
DALE
Do you know how many hospices we’ve been to?
FAY
Yes, three.
DALE
He’s dying, he’s not dying. He’s dying. My father is a attention grabbing S.O.B. I am going to be prideful because I’m going to take care of my father better than he took care of me.
FAY
I think that’s spiteful and you’re not really taking care of your father when you past due on your payments.

You keep saying that but somehow I don’t believe you.
Fay picks up the cash.
INT. HOSPICE HALLWAY - MOMENTS LATER
As Dale walks down the somber hallway, his demeanor changes from anger to melancholy. Dales turns into a room.
INT. LOUISE’S APARTMENT - EARLY EVENING
Andy walks around Louise’s apartment. It’s airy and romantic, much like the bakery.
Andy runs her hands along a row of beautiful, colorful cooking aprons hanging on the wall.
Andy makes her way around the apartment and comes to the window that looks out onto the plaza street.
Looking at the patrons walking the street, Andy notices Melvin on his phone. His demeanor has changed, he’s giddy. Andy’s eyes follow Melvin as he skips down the street.
Curiosity gets the best of her, Andy bolts for the front door.
EXT. ALLEY WAY - CONTINUOUS
Andy rushes down the stairs. Andy looks down the long alleyway.
ANDY
Too long.
Andy rushes into the back of the bakery.
INT. SWEET SPOT BAKERY KITCHEN
Andy rushes in but stops in her tracks when she sees Deidra setting up a tray of cupcakes. Deidra turns around to see Andy.
They just stare at each other for a moment. Andy slowly walks towards the front of the bakery with her back to the wall. Deidra continues to stare at
