In The Great Gatsby we learn from memories and past accounts of Gatsbyś deep feelings of love for Daisy Buchanan. Gatsby is swayed by the idea of Daisy. He changes his entire life for the purpose of something from the past. Gatsby goes on a plot to reunite with his true love, or so he thinks. In this book many times Gatsby makes a drastic transformation of his life to achieve a feeling of past relations. We go to explore and make assumptions of the true feelings of each of these specific characters throughout the book. Also, regarding if the feelings are truly authentic towards each other. Gatsby and Daisy’s past go far back into the past. Gatsby first met Daisy in Louisville, her hometown, in nineteen seventeen when he was stationed there.
