Recommended: Psychological factors underlying criminal behavior

In this essay I will be covering the aspects of how the criminology can help prevent future crime. In addition I will be discussing, and analyzing one aspect of how the study of criminology can be a useful endeavor to benefit society and to prevent crimes. I will be talking on how to prevent future crimes with cognitive behavioral therapy.
According to Siegel (2012), criminology tries to explain the nature of the crimes, when the crimes start from the beginning or origin, and try identifying the cause of the crimes and spend time on crime controls. The criminological theory is looking to understand how individuals or groups are influences in legal decisions. A number of the crime patterns that criminologist are looking for is that some statistics are been showing that the higher crimes rates are in poor neighborhoods in large urban areas. That is the first reason the some criminologist thinks that the best way to prevent crimes is to link the population with personality, character, intelligence and what they make and how they think and behave. That is the reason I would think one way...
