Star Trek The Original Series is seen as sexist in very many ways because, the types of clothes that are worn between the males and the females, also how men and women are characterized and what Position/Ranking they have.

The women's outfits are less practical than the male outfits. “The women’s dresses are “less” functional uniforms than the shirt and pants of the men, which implies that women are “less” functional as well.” The women are not the ones in battle because the will have a harder time outrunning the enemy in battle because they are not wearing the correct footwear. The men have more practical outfits because they are seen in the front of the battle.
