Introduction Have you ever wanted to know if coming to college would ever make a difference in your life, and how will it change if never thought of college? Sometimes thinking, will life be more difficult with or without a degree. In life, improvement is extremely important even if it could be finding a better way of living. It is difficult for African American men to find a job. At risk college scholars must stop blaming the system for their lack of achievement. They should work more with self concepts. To where they are focused self focused Academically, self-determined, and be encouraged. We cannot not let where we came from change how can we be successful. We won’t even make it as far college. Some will come just to drop out, and will take anything that can put some change in their pocket when they can strive better opportunities. Some are seen as lacking motivation. Which causes them to not be determined to take the chances of taking big steps. Once you motivate yourself to take that big step, there is always handout for you. That is why it is extremely important to stay active with your resources. Like for example, college students looking for part-time jobs can take advantage on campus with the resources it carries. Never finding a job that fits your life style and what you feel comfortable with should never be an issue, but if it takes some enforcement, you know what it takes to get where you want. I know sometimes for African American men finding a job can be difficult. What makes it worse is depending on your environment. Living in poverty could be a huge factor. You could be on the verge to making that next step and want to give it all up. It takes you through beyond "survival" and guides you toward your destined career path. Hundreds of thousands of African Americans have been successfully wealthy pursuing their dreams. Even for college students starting off there career at the straight beginning with no type of experience, they may have a long way to go but have to make to there peak. Alter the parties, the frat gatherings, the Big Test and the Big Game, life comes knocking. Finding a job and keeping it; renting an apartment or sharing a house; dealing with your own money instead of your parents' money; who knew how complicated the world after college would
