Confronting Contracting Face Analysis

For this beliefs paper, I got the Confronting Contracting face. When I realized I was the confronting contracting face, I was shocked and surprise because I thought I would be a rules and consequence face. I think what influenced my choice of answer is the way I grew up and when I worked at a taekwondo place which is based on discipline, rules and consequences. I answered the questions the way I did is because when I use to work at the taekwondo place, I did not like how my coworkers would just get mad at the kids for messing around, not focusing, not paying attention, or for getting mad at themselves or other people. He happened to be a special needs kid, and people need to talk to him calmly, with a smile on their face, even though they are frustrated and parents are staring at you because their child are getting hurt and keep reminding him about the rules, and explaining to him every time that sometimes the way he plays can hurt someone else. Most of my coworkers do not have the patients to deal with him and do all sorts of babysitting but, now that I remembered working with him, I realized that I am a confronting contracting face, because I know that I always have to know why and ask

I think I would choose more than one, be a relationship-listening and a confronting-contracting because I think it is good to approach the problem and deal with them so they know how you are feelings and that you are talking directly to them, then hold a class meeting so the whole class knows exactly how you are feeling and that it should be prevented in the future by anyone else. Another example is number four, I would do both of the answers, I will hold a class meeting so the whole class knows how upset I am and that we find a solution as a team to solve the problem and they know what will happen to them if they got caught.
