Concussions can last days, week or even months, depending on how severe they really are. The effects of concussions can vary from headaches, memory loss, and other severe problems, and although concussions are the least traumatic brain injury, the physical effects can be serious. The most noticeable effect of a concussion are the symptoms that occur. The early signs of concussions can happen right after the incident occurs but can also not show up for a few days (Mayo Clinic). The different signs of having a concussion can vary, depending on how severe it really is. After you do not do any activities you can do slight activities, if you get oked by the doctor at your checkup. When you do go in the activity stage then you can keep up the activities as long as you do not get any headaches.

Concussions are an injury that falls under the Traumatic Brain Injury category. A concussion occurs when a force causes the brain to rock back and forth inside the skull, and hit the interior walls of the skull. When this happens it can result in bruising on two parts of the brain, the Coup and the Countercoup. This may result in Loss of consciousness, confusion, headaches, nausea or vomiting, blurred vision, and loss of short-term memory. I know from experience the nausea and blurred vision. I noticed that during what I thought was a concussion though after the initial hits my ears would ring and give me very painful headaches.

Doctors can’t really diagnose ALS with tests or anything, they have to hear the patient tell them about the symptoms their feeling. Therefore, they can conclude if the patient suffers from ALS. While CTE can only be diagnosed after
