According to Senn (1998), Information Technology (IT) is contains three components, which are computers, communication and expertise. A combination of the three components creates opportunities for people and organization to become more productive, effective and generally successful without being separated. In general, Information Technology is the main player in the information era. The technology is used to access, store and distribute the information, especially the information in the digital form. Information Technology (IT) can support activities involving creation, storage, manipulating and communication of information, which are related methods, management and applications. Besides than that, In the 21st century has brought the information era, where it is continuing with the rapid pace computerized system being used in all types of sector, from medical and space exploration to education, such as banking and manufacturing sectors. The demand of Information Technology (IT) was increased due to the usage and development of many types of complex systems. According to Senn (1998), there are six features where to differentiate the information era from the Agricultural era and Industrial era:
(i) Emergence of an Information-Based Society
Nowadays, most of the workers are manipulating information rather than working in the agriculture and manufacturing. For example, most of the company workers are through the e-mail to communicate with each other or customer and supplier. It would be more effectiveness and efficiently than using mailed.

(ii) Success of Business and Management Jobs Depends on IT.

There are two intelligent cities have been built inside the Multimedia Super Corridor Malaysia area, for example, Cyberjaya houses the information and multimedia technology industries, then Putrajaya is the new administrative centre of the federal government. So, there have some of the industries sector that applied and utilisation of Information Technology (IT) in that industry, such as Education sector, Manufacture sector, Small Medium Enterprise (SME) sector, Telecommunication sector and others.
