Have you ever had a dream but then someone ruined it for you. What are broken dreams. In the book Of Mice and Men there are many characters that all have dreams that never came true. The reason their dreams didn’t come true was because the choices they did and their decisions. If your dream never comes true then you will now how the characters Lennie, George, and Curley’s wife they never got what they wanted. For george his dreams never come true because of lennie. So like when the two were working in weed Lennie grabbed a girl's dress and she claimed that it was rape so they had to hide the whole day so they did not get caught. For example in the novel Of Mice and Men George says “God a'mighty, if I was alone I could live so easy. I could go get a job an' work, an' no trouble....An' whatta I got,' George went on furiously. In the novel John Steinbeck states “No, Lennie. I ain't mad. I never been mad, an' I ain't now. That's a thing I want ya to know.” which implies that he’s going to shoot Lennie because he killed curley’s wife. So the reason that is important because know he will not be able to tend the rabbits he wanted to. It supports my claim because now all he dreamed about was the rabbits in the whole story. So now that Lennie’s dream is ruined George will never forget what he did also. The last character of Broken dreams is Curley’s wife because she could of been an actress but her mom said she was too young. In the novel Of Mice and Men curley’s wife her mom would not her do it. So then she had met Curley but then later on she end sup not liking him and that's why she talks to all the boys. So then her dreams never came true all she wanted to become was an actress but then she got killed by Lennie because she let him touch her hair but then she tried running and he snapped her
