In the book animal farm and in the “ i have a dream “ speech , there were many ideas of dreams through both of the speech and book. Animal farm consist of many dreams of the animals . In the speech ,more of the people had dreams and rights . They did have some similar dreams in common but some differences . In times of great need and suffering , historical martin luther king jr. and the fictitious board Old major both gave a speech. Both highly influenced the cause on which they spoke . They gave their speech with the intention to inspire masses with a dream of a better future for those suffering from unfairness . Through reading both you find interesting facts on how they relate and how they don't . All in all, the facts make you wonder and puzzle together the information piece by piece . …show more content…

To start off with , like i said before both of the men based their dream of a better future . The speeches both talk about the cruelty in some forward towards whose suffering from discriminator unfairness ,either race or species based, and address the rights of those who is suffering. However, the 2 speeches did not simply just address problems, they both talk about the future and the changes they wish to achieve to make a better future in the end . In an effort to prove their points, MLK and Old Major uses rhetoric . Towards the end of each speeches they both have an inspirational song . “My Country Tis Of Thee” and “Beast Of England” . Like it said in an article i read , and i quote , ” Neither speech relies very heavily on alliterations to help get their point across, instead using other forms of rhetoric. The structure and rhetorical devices used in each speech creates an underlying that conveys that accepting the present situation could prove disastrous to the audience.” Which means they did not depend on alliterations as much to get the word out and a understanding to the people
