Life in the Aztec empire was different than that in Europe at the time. They believed in gods and had wizards and magicians. The Aztec’s had a similar social structure to most European countries; however, the craftsmen ship of art was quite different than that in Europe. The social structure of the Aztec empire was not so different than others at the time. They had a king, warriors, and workers; however, they also had elders and magicians. The elders made up a council and were the big decision makers when it came to selecting a king. The elders were very respected, and some of the elders were women. The magicians were often advisors to the king and gave him guidance and interpretations on visions and dreams. It says in The Broken Spears
