The Nile River is the longest river in the world and located in Africa. The name of the river Nile comes from the Greek word “Neilos” which means river. There are two branches of the Nile. They are called the White Nile and Blue Nile. The Nile River flows through several countries which are Egypt, Zaire, Tanzanian, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Ethiopia, Sudan, and Kenya.
