Compare and Contrast: Two Different Religions
Christianity and Islam Christianity and Islam are the two largest religions in the world. Both share with Judaism a belief in one god who creates the world and cares about human beings behavior and beliefs. Christians and Muslims has continues to grow lager and bigger. Islam and Christianity believe that there is only one god, he is the creator of the universe. Christians also believe in trinity, meaning that god has three forms: (father, son, Holy Ghost and spirits). Even today there are some Christians who still accept the trinity. 30 AD in Palestine, Muslims was found 622 CE in Arabian Peninsula. Christians speak Aramaic and Greek, and mostly located in Europe, North and South America and there is two billion Christians in the world today. Muslims speak Arabic and located in the Middle East and Southeast Asia and there is 1.3 billion. However Christianity is spreading faster than Islam. Christians has the Bible and Muslim has the Quran. Christians believe in the concept of “Original Sin” which means that human beings are born as sinners. Muslim do not believe in the “Original Sin” for two reasons: in the Quran, God forgave Adam for what he has done and according to the Quran no one should be made to bear the burden of someone else’s sin or mistake because it is unfair. Muslim prays five times a day, daily prayers are Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha. These prayers are done every day as a Muslim before you pray you have to wash your hand, foot, arm, ear, nose and face. And you do these during every prayers. Christians only pray during dinner, bed time and every Sundays. Muslim pray more times a day because we believe that every time you pray you washing some of your sin away like you getting cleaner and cleaner every time you pray and getting closer to God.
