In the 15th century it is clear that China was one of the world’s leading powers, if not the top dog of countries. Their technology was by far superior to anything that Europe had. They had all the resources, and did not need much in trade. They were in fact one of the most advanced countries in the world, only rivaled by similar nations such as Japan, Mongolia, and Manchuria. Nope of the nations in the west could not hold a candle to what the Chinese had. So where did they go wrong for the the Europeans to finally catch up to and surpass the Chinese. The simple answer is that they settled.

Also as a eunuch he competed with the confucianists for attention form the emperor. The emperor favored the eunuch’s at the time and listened to their counsel, the emperor also favored Zheng He. The emperor commanded Zheng He to build a navy for China and explore the world that was out there. Up until this point it was illegal to explore and trade with the foreign people. In 1405, Zheng He went on his first voyage, which took him all the way to Ceylon. All together Zheng He took seven voyages with the emperor’s treasure fleet, exploring all the way to Saudi Arabia and even the eastern coast of Africa. These explorations would have very helpful to China in the future. However, after the emperor died and the next in line took his place. If China had discovered America, then they might have treated the Native Americans with more respect. If China had started to colonize America from California over then who knows. America might not even exist in today’s world and China might have been the largest country in the world.
If America had been colonized by the Chinese and been comprised of Native Americans and Chinese, then when World War I broke out, America would not have been there to step in and help the allies win the war. Which means Germany could have won World War I. Assuming World War II still came after, if Germany lost, then Germany definitely would have won World War II, without the support of America, and who knows China might have even stepped into the war on Germany’s side. If Germany won, then the world would be a completely different place, a world filled with communism, dictatorship, and a lot less
