Why do many people come to America in hopes of a better life? America has always been considered a land of freedom and opportunity, and though this is true, America is initially a land created by all these different culture and beliefs coming together. Which is why I believe that Immigrants themselves have shaped America. When they come to America they bring Culture and affect the economy positively, thus shaping America into what it is. When it comes to Culture America has no definite culture other than what the europeans initially made it. America itself has a vast array of diverse cultures co residing as one unit. Many americans may not realize it but having immigrants come to america raises the needs for consumer goods, which in actuality is boosting the economy and gaining america more funds to help rebuild the streets and fund national projects. It has been proven that immigrants make up 84% of our worlds scientist and engineers.
