In addition to the data collection, I want to point out something that during the observation I also encountered with the differences between our team to other team while we were competing against them as well. The most obvious one is when players from another team used the phrase like “use it man, right here” which basically means “use this opportunity, win this point”. That phase is something that none of my team members have heard before, so this is explained to me that there are differences in each community of practice created by certain group of people, which in this case it influenced and affect much on how players used different phrase or words to get their players going. Social factors are something that came across my mind sometimes while I was doing the observation as well. Which there are words and phrases that the new guys use differently from the older guys, but at the same time there are things those new guys learned from the older guys, the coach, and the college tennis environment that influenced them in the way they speak to be more like most of the people here. I agree that community of practice can be form in the world of sports, and they can be form in many groups, for example; the new guys in the team will get to learn much from Michigan Technological university tennis team, but then they will also get to learn more when we are on the road travelling to play against other teams in the conference as well, and each team has different background or members within it so this is almost impossible for two teams to have exactly the same team
