Recommended: The importance of science education

I’ve always been enamored with space. When I was little I sat on a stone wall in our backyard with my father and sister after the sunset and searched the stars for recognizable patterns. I’m still drawn to the mystery of space. Though science has enabled us to explore the universe, there’s still so much to find out. Part of my interest in space is the sheer sublimity of the cosmos, but I am also deeply interested in how mathematics can describe the universe as we know it. I’ve always been a science and math savvy student and often try to learn outside of class. In tenth grade I came across a Youtube channel called Space Time which has weekly episodes that explore various physics concepts. I binge watched Space Time until there were no more
