Cleopatra VII was the last pharaoh of the Ancient Egypt. Even though her actual name was Cleopatra VII, no one remembered the ones before her so she was simply as known as Cleopatra. Cleopatra is one of the most popular women figures of the ancient world who has ruled a Hellenistic Kingdom in Ancient Egypt between the years 51 BC to 12 BC. Her relationships with the Roman general; Julius Caesar and the Roman politician; Marc Anthony gave her a huge role on the development of the Roman Republic as well as on the Ancient Egypt. Since then, her life has been such an interesting topic to many movies and “Cleopatra” is just one of them. As soon as Caesar arrives to Egypt, the pharaoh, Ptolemy XIII shows Caesar a signet ring which belonged to Pompey and his body in a jar. Pompey ran away to Egypt after a several times of defeats looking for a help from the pharaoh, Ptolemy XIII. However Ptolemy XIII gets Pompey executed. Pompey gets himself killed by the Egyptian Government who has done that in order to please Julius Caesar.
