ENGLISH ESSAY Civil disobedience is the refusal to obey laws as a way of forcing the government to do or change something. This is something that Gandhi, Thoreau, and King strongly believed in. Thoreau, Gandhi, and King believed that if you are going to be civil disobedient you must do it peacefully. They also all believed that it only takes one person to make a change happen.
