Why Pulp Fiction is a Must-See Film Looking for an action film with a great soundtrack and amazing characters? Pulp Fiction (Quentin Tarantino 1994) is a must see film, comprised of several different stories. The soundtrack includes upbeat tunes that keep the viewer engaged while the characters are interesting and complex along with amazing action scenes. Throughout the film the audience sees the story of a couple of thieves, two hit men, a mob boss’ wife, and a boxer all join together to create this cinematic masterpiece. The thieves plan to rob a diner while the hitmen are sent to obtain a case for their mob boss whose wife then goes to dinner with one of the hitmen while the boxer is hired by the mob boss to throw a match, but disobeys …show more content…

Pulp Fiction is not a typical watch because it does not follow in chronological order. Instead, it skips around between and back and forth through the different stories and on top of this it has extensive dialogue, that while entertaining, adds to a lot of the confusion associated with watching this film. This can be incredibly frustrating to a first time viewer because the story never really comes together until the very end. However, this could also be one of the positive aspects of the movie because it makes the person watching want to come back and watch it over and over again to understand the dialogue and to unravel the multiple mysteries. Something else that is interesting and requires watching the film multiple times is when a viewer is trying to piece which stories go where and follow in chronological order. Pulp Fiction is so original and iconic, it is too good to be passed up. Whether you’re in it for the highly developed characters, the mind blowing action, the perfectly incorporated soundtrack, or all three, it will not disappoint because of how well directed and thought out all three aspects are. The characters, action, and soundtrack make it undeniably entertaining to anyone that enjoys watching movies and it keeps an audience coming back because of how thought provoking and complex it is.
