We live in a world filled with different cultures, identity, and races. There are about seven billion people living in the world right now, and each and every individual are different. We all act differently, look differently, and what’s most important is that we are all so different inside too. The society we live in affects our way of life, people influence our decision making, and many people influence our future. In the short story, Cinderella by The Brothers Grimm, Cinderella lives with her father, step mother and her two step-sisters. Her father, stepmother, and stepsisters are all evil and treat Cinderella like she’s worthless and not important. This affects Cinderella in many ways such as, her health, life, and also the type of person she is. Living in a household ruan like this and being treated terribly affected Cinderella tremendously. Cinderella was a very modest, honest, and kind-hearted women whom because of her values in life that she was taught from her mother, led her to her happy ending with marrying the Prince. Cinderella was beautiful, but in the end of the story when the prince was trying to find where is bride was by finding who fits the shoe, Cinderella fit the shoe not because of her beauty but because she was not evil and deceitful like her evil step-sisters. Cinderella stuck with her values and never forgot who she truly was. Her values in life were to be kind-hearted and modest and that’s what she was, from the beginning when her mother passed away to the very end when she rode away with her prince. Being able to learn from drastic events that happen in your life but not letting them bring you down and change describes what kind of person you are. Loving others and staying true to yourself are the most important values in society
