Long long time ago, there lived a King named Raden Putra in the Kingdom of Jenggala. In the kingdom, Raden Putra lived with his kind-hearted queen and a beautiful concubine. But unlike the queen, the concubine was very deceitful and has a heart of evil. She was also very greedy and arrogant. The concubine always wanted the best from the king, and because the queen was very kind-hearted, she always gives the concubine the better one. However, it never touched the concubine’s heart and never stoped her from thinking about how to make the queen leave the palace.
One day, the concubine made a plan to banish the queen from the palace. She pretended to be ill and asked the royal healer to help her with her plan. Raden Putra was worried and called the royal healer to give the concubine treatments. At noon, the royal healer came to Raden Putra and told him that the cause of the concubine’s illness is because of a poison. He concluded that the queen gives the poison to the concubine’s tea. Raden Putra was very shocked and angry to hear the royal healer’s explanation. HE immediately went to ask the queen if it is true. Because the queen was innocent, she was also shocked, and of course she denied his words. But Raden Putra was too mad to hear her explanation. Even though he loves the queen very much, he needs to make a punishment for what she had done. The queen needs to be banished to the woods and terminated. Raden Putra didn’t know that the queen was already pregnant. He commanded one of his guard to banish the queen the woods and kill her. Raden Putra’s guard knew that the queen is innocent, but he don’t want to disobey the king’s instruction. So, he made a simple house in the woods for the queen to live in, and smeared his sword wi...

... Raden Putra was just about to ask who he really is when CIndelaras’ rooster sing the song it sings every morning. Radaen Putra was surprised. He asked Cindelarasif it was true. “ Yes, My Majesty. My name is CIndelaras and my mother was the king.” Said Cindelaras. The king immediately called the guard who had banished the queen. The guard confessed that he had never killed the queen. Later, the royal healer also admitted his mistake and told the king about the concubine’s plan. Raden Putra was so shocked. He immediately went to the woods to pick up the queen he had banished. Ever since, Cindelaras and his parents lived happily ever after. As for the concubine, she was sent to the jail as a punishment.

O-lan vowed to return to the great house one day in fine clothing with a son. Her resolve was strong; no one could say otherwise. Her years of abuse as a slave had made O-lan wise, stoic, and bitter; whether the events of her life strengthened or weakened her is the question.
The author notes that the King at an early age relied mostly on his mentors for knowledge and advice, notably two of which were councils of elders. The King’s entire life and on matters of decisionmaking was under the influence of these elders and from members of the court. The effects of overreliance on the need to make a decisive decision is witnessed when the moment to plan the escape, the King ponders and waste a lot of time in thinking and going over the idea of evading. The King took much time that Marie and Fersen had already begun planning for the escape long before the king had already given the consent for such an idea. Marie’s plan was underway and was schedule on May but the King’s nature of indecisiveness led to his postponing of the due date. Timothy Tackett notes down that the King does not just postpone the escape once but six times. These acts of postponing the escape finally end as he decides on the twentieth of June as the eloping day. I was gratified to see that this critic agreed with my interpretation of the Duchess’s demise, viz., the Duke had her murdered. I had been looking at his famous line “And I choose/never to stoop.” He married her for her beauty but would never lower himself to tell her when she angered him.
When a person becomes trapped in a situation that stems from an individual with greater authority, being manipulative can be a very promising method to escape. The Thousand and One Nights does a very good job of being a good example of someone in this situation that uses stories within a story to capture encapsulate the attention of the reader. Despite the many little stories that go into the text, the main story behind it all is about a king named King Shahrayar and how he goes insane after catching his wife having sexual relations with a slave. After he sees this happen, he realizes that he can never trust any woman again and none of them are trustworthy. By expressing his views on women, he decides to marry a different woman every night, then the next morning have them killed by beheading. This is an ongoing event that brings death to most of the women in the village. Soon after, the king’s Vizier’s daughter, Shahrazad, came up with a brilliant idea that will end up saving her fellow countrywomen and hopefully keep the king from murdering so many innocent people. Her method behind all this is by telling the kind a different story every night that leaves him on a cliffhanger, making him curious enough to keep her alive for another day to continue her story. Shahrazad keeps herself spared from the king because of her cunning, and compassionate personality.

The inclusion of his army is an appeal to the traditionally male value of force and power. The youngest sister promises him emotional satisfaction: twins, a boy and a girl. Her approach is more typically female, since it appeals to his personal feelings and includes a daughter in the bargain.
