My essay is about the autobiography of Chris Kyle the American Sniper.
I chose him because I liked the movie about him and was just overall interested in him. We both have something in common we have been shooting guns since a young age. Christopher Scott Kyle was born April 8, 1974 in Odessa, Texas, to Deby Lynn Mercer and Wayne Kenneth Kyle. He was a United States Navy SEAL veteran sniper. Before he joined the military he was a cowboy and professional bull rider. He would go out to rodeo’s and compete with his brother Jeff Kyle. Travis was born in 1809, and died in battle defending the fort known as the Alamo against overwhelming Mexican forces in 1836. He was the oldest out of his 11 brothers and sisters. His parents were Mark Stallworth and Jemima Stallworth. Travis officially became a lieutenant colonel in January 1836. On that same year the governor Henry Smith ordered for Travis and 100 reinforcements to arrive at San Antonio. James Bowie also arrived at the fort. The Texas army knew that they were outnumbered; therefore, Travis was sent a very deep profound letter to all Patriot Americans for aid. On March 1, 1836 Travis received 32 men led by Albert Martin and George C. Kimball. The reinforcements arrived, due to the meaningful letter Travis sent out to any that would listen. The town of Gonzales was the few to comply to Travis’s letter to provide reinforcements even though the people from Gonzales knew it was a lost cause due to the impact of lieutenant colonel’s words stating that Travis was determined to sustain as long as possible and die like a soldier whoever forgets what is due to his own honor and that of his country –Victory or Death. The Gonzales reinforcements were the few that came to Travis’s aid.

Baby Face. But it was in action roles that Wayne excelled, exuding a warm and imposing manliness onscreen to which both men and women could respond.
John Allen Muhammad, also known as John Allen Williams, was born on December 31, 1960 in Louisiana. After the passing of his mom when Muhammad was the age of four, his aunt, Baton Rouge raised him. After Muhammad finished high school he married Carol Kaglear. They had a son and named him Linbergh. He then started a military career that was promising at first. His commanders described him as personable and outgoing. By the early 1980’s his cracks were beginning to show. He failed to report for duty and hit an officer, resulting in trouble (Biography, par 1, 2, 3).
The American Sniper trial with Eddie Ray Routh had posttraumatic stress disorder as a main focus. Eddie, a Former Veteran, was asking for help with his PTSD and Chris Kyle and his friend Chris Littlefield came to help. Chris Kyle was a veteran and the author of the book “American sniper” and he helped other veterans and soldiers
The Duke takes his place in history. John Wayne, one of America’s greatest actors and directors of all time. His fame and superstardom led to many problems in his career. His image as an icon of American individualism and the frontier spirit has overshadowed his career to such an extent that it is almost impossible for the fans and writers to separate Wayne the legend from Wayne the actor and Wayne the man.

A serial killer is a person who has killed three or more people over a month apart. Their motivation for killing is usually based on psychological issue.(Sanmartín,2001) In the U.S, the most reported serial killers are lower middle class white males, usually in their late twenties to early thirties (Skrapec,2001). Serial killers, often, are liars. They have no sense of remorse or guilt. Most of the time they are not in serious relationship or have any emotional obsession to any one person, besides their victims. Most of the well-known serial killers are: Robert Pickton, Charles Manson, Anthony Sowell, Ted Bundy, The Zodiac Killer, The Green River Killer, and The BTK murderer. (Sanmartín,2001). In 2003, Roy Blount Jr. published the book Robert E. Lee through the Penguin Group Inc. This book is different then other books published about Lee due to the fact that this book looks behind the man in uniform, and shows how Lee became the legend that we know today. Blount brings an element of humor that some would not expect to find when writing about Lee. Through this type of writing, Lee transforms into the everyday person who we all can relate to.
Robert E Lee is very quick and smart. He knows how to improve the quality of troops and to nullify the Union’s advantage. Lee is willing to make bold and risky moves, and does not let his defeats hinder his performance. General Lee has great relations with his soldiers, and uses his engineering experience to his advantage.
Thesis Statement: Because of extensive evidence, I believe that Lee Harvey Oswald did not act alone on the day of November 22, 1963 in the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The additional gunman was strategically placed in the grassy knoll area, in order to shoot at Kennedy from a frontal view (Rubinstein 4).
By November 2008 he was able to ship out to Iraq. His base in Iraq was home to 3200 people and while there only two people died and both times it was because of heatstroke. Kyle’s favorite part of being in Iraq was that you could eat any food you wanted. There was a taco bell and a burger king and other American restaurants. During the day, he would only work four hours because of the intense heat. When that too became to hot he would work nights. From his base you could see the Ziggurat and you could even tour it, but later it would be closed down because the warzone around it was too dangerous. Occasionally he would be assigned to a convoy, and during one of those missions the convoy ahead of him had hit an IED (roadside bomb) and flipped. It took them 18 hours to flip it around and keep going. Kyle said the IED’s were the greatest threat because “you never know where it is and it can be made out of anything.”
