Few care to admit their flaws to society. What may be considered a weakness to some may be the complete opposite for others, and while we all indeed have weaknesses, a select few tend to display courage enough to confess to their flaws and weaknesses to the public eye. This would make the individual vulnerable, and being vulnerable is one of the most frightening situations in the world. I give you Chris Brown, a man who has been decimated by the media. His once squeaky clean image is now forever under constant scrutiny due solely to the commencement of his never-ending polarizing character. I still recall his debut in the entertainment business. Literally every teenage girl I knew in high school was swooning over the kid, he was a publicist's dream, and literally everything he was associated with was simply adored and devoured by his fans. He had all of the girls asking: “Damn, how can I meet him?” and the guys asking: “How can I be like him?” The man is a walking firework, the epitome of a celebrity. Chris, like many others in his field are dedicated to a masterful craft which deliberately deals with garnering attention. These people will do just about anything to stay in the public eye, most of their jobs are to literally sell lifestyles which they ironically, hardly practice themselves. …show more content…
Because of the media scrutiny, and his enormous influential brand name, virtually everything he does, or associates with, good or bad, is under constant fire. Remember in Spiderman how the public began to view him with despise after just a pinch of propaganda? Yes, it is all too similar. Virtually every historical figure that has been faced with arguably gargantuan undeserved amounts of attention has faced scrutiny and opposition somewhere down the line. We are a jealous species after
Kane Brown has had a very rough life. From going to 12 different schools, to getting bullied, to being abused by his own stepfather. (Wikipedia) What would you do if any of these happened to you? Instead of sitting the rest of his life and being depressed about all of the negative things in his life, Kane Brown took all of those negative things and wrote songs about them. For example in his song “Learning” Brown talks about how even though he was abused, and he watched most of his friends become terrible people, or die, he was “learning how to let it go” as he stated in the song. If you’ve had a rough time in life, you will definitely be inspired by Kane Brown and his story.
The Life of Billy Joel Billy Joel was born on May 9, 1949 in Bronx, New York. He moved at the age of four to a small town on Long Island. This is where at the ripe age of four he discovered the art of music. Originally a classical music fan, Billy Joel honed his skills with classical piano training. This undoubtedly has had a major influence on his life and certainly his music.
Part of that is because some people’s perspectives of celebrities allow them think as if they’re on a pedestal and are more important than the average human. When people vision these celebrities as these quintessential people it enable’s their own thoughts and opinions on the celebrity. It’s like brainwashing, these celebrities only show the media what they want, which allows them to put up a whole façade and mask who they truly are. During the O.J Simpson trial it opened more people’s minds to visualize the concept that celebrities have the ability to be just as deranged as the average person, and that we are all equal, but the only difference that’s separates us is the fact that their job is in the lime
Throughout America’s history there have been countless influential leaders that have proudly been American. Those have held positions of politicians, soldiers, and . Kanye Omari West has opened the eyes of today's generation and still continues to shape American history. His musical influence has transformed the lives of countless people. Inspiring many to stand up and fight for what they believe in is something Kanye West continues to do even today.. Also, opening the eyes of many to racial injustice towards African American citizens. I’ll further elaborate my claim in the following paragraphs using historical evidence.

His new video for "This is America"has definitely caught the attention and risen awareness from people it may concern. But, we'll get into later.
Whitney Houston to most was a very amazing and talented person who allowed life and its mishaps break her down. As a young girl she grew up in the church where she felt like it was a sign from God that she should be singing. Freud believes that religion is an illusion, an attempt to gain control over the external world. In his eyes saying that anything is a sign from God depends on how you vision life. There were times in her life where she would produce more music just to get thru the thing that she would be going through. She would use her music as a defense mechanism to get away from all of the abuse, problems with her marriage, neglect, and drugs. Defense mechanisms are ways to distort reality to reduce anxiety: Rationalization is giving a positive reason to a stressor and regression is withdrawing from reality and going to pastime.
Early Life in Georgia. The "Godfather of Soul," James Brown, was born James Joe Brown Jr. on May 3, 1933, in a one-room shack in the woods of Barnwell, South Carolina, a few miles east of the Georgia border. When James was a little kid he was a hard working little kid that do anything to help this family. When he was at the age of six year old he was send to live with is Aunt Honey. James find Music when he was little kid. This mother left him when he was four year old, she left with another man, and while Aunt Honey would play something of a maternal role for James, the fact that she ran a brothel and sold moonshine for a living made for anything but a traditional upbringing. It was a lot of people who wanted to play music and learn at the same time they when to
Growing up I remember my mom turning the music up whenever she heard a good song. The only genre, she listened to was country so I grew up loving country music. I now turn the music up whenever I hear a song Luke Bryan wrote because his music is so good. Growing up Luke Bryan was a normal child, but over the 20 or more years, so many devastating things have happened to his family that are hard for Bryan and his family to get over.
This is exactly what the media does to celebrities. Most celebrities that we have become to know have all changed in a lot of way from before they started their career and when they actually became famous. There are many artists, actors, musicians that were once people you would not even believe. A story that really inspires me is the musical journey of Stefani Germanotta. A small recording artist, not very well know, that is why I choose to discuss her because she has been through this with the media. She went to a small all girls catholic school in New York City. Paris Hilton was in her school. Look where she got, where did she go. She was made fun of everyday for her appearance. She was musically inclined to no extent, she had the talent. She knew how to play the piano by herself by the age of four years old (4).By 13 she wrote her first ballad; by 19 she was writing songs for the Pussycat Dolls and Britney Spears. Obviously she had the talent so when she went to go get a record deal, she went to...
“Jon Gosselin caught sneaking out of lover’s house!” “Oprah is gay!” “Kirstie Ally weighs 250 pounds!” “John Travolta’s son dies on the bathroom floor!” These are just a few examples of the startling headlines that might be boldly smeared across, magazines, newspapers, and internet sites. Because of our need to know, various forms of entertainment media devote their entire attention to exposing the personal, private and intimate details of celebrity’s lives. They are captured in embarrassing moments, profound sadness, and deep intimacy. We learn the major and minor details of their lives--from their first kiss to their last divorce. We know where they shop and where they eat, who they date and often whether or not they wear underpants. We have followed them down their road to self destruction and have been waiting at the door when they leave prison, rehab or the hospital. A star’s quest for fame and celebrity is often a trade off that comes with a costly price tag; despite their mega paychecks it is a price even they cannot afford. The price of fame comes at the expense of their personal life and privacy.
This is especially difficult for a celebrity because they carry the burden of being available for the whole world to see. Whatever he does, he receives criticism for it. Consequently, he has even more pressure put on him than a normal person to concede to the status

We are part of a generation that is obsessed with celebrity culture. Celebrities are distinctive. Media and consumers alike invented them to be a different race of super beings: flawless, divine and above all the real moral world. In a 1995 New York Times article “In contrast, 9 out of 10 of those polled could think of something
...focus on his life styles? Is he wrong, in the eyes of God, yes, but do we have the right to judge him? At the end of the day in my opinion all Tiger owes us is his dedication to the game of golf, if it interest you. Likewise, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have been inviolable since taking office. The media has only focused on the negative aspects of what they have done since taking office. What can one do, only having been in office for a year? After all he is cleaning up the mess left behind form our last administration.
