On the above listed date and time I responded to the area of Limestone Dr and Deedra Circle in reference to a fight in progress. Upon my arrival I met with the victim Alejandra Martinez. I observed several marks and blood on Martinez's face along with bruising under and around her right eye as if she had been struck. Martinez told me she had been drinking with her boyfriend Joey Brown and another male whom she only knew as “Chris” at the Pirates bar. Martinez provided me Brown's name, address, and DOB which helped me locate Brown in NCIC/FCIC, and D.A.V.I.D. While drinking Martinez told me Chris called me a “whore” and told me I was going to pay for all the drinks. Martinez told me upon leaving the bar Joey was arguing with her at the side of a house. I asked Martinez if she knew the address or occupants of the house and she told me no. …show more content…
Martinez told me she was on the phone with her mother and while speaking with her mother Joey shoved her two to three times. Martinez told me on the previous day, Tuesday November 21st 2017, Joey had twisted her right arm up behind her back, causing her right arm to have pain and discomfort, because she had Joey's passport and did not want to be left alone in the “ Craigslist House”. Martinez told me “ Joey wiped his blood on her face” called her a “whore” and yelled at her saying “ be respectful to my friends”. Martinez told me Chris had threatened to “ take her to the lake”. I asked Martinez if she considered this comment to be a threat to her and she said yes. I asked Martinez if she felt in fear for her safety and she said yes. Martinez told me that at that time Chris told Joey to “ stop physically shoving me
She then mentions that she was stiffed 200 bucks at a pool hall. In true Italian-American stereotypical fashion Vinny drives speedily to the pool hall to confront JT, the man that stiffed Lisa. Up to this point in Vinny’s life, he has only worked on personal injury cases. While Vinny and Lisa are confronting JT about him stiffing Lisa 200 dollars, Vinny stops his conversation to ask a guy in a neckbrace if he was rear-ended. Vinny and Lisa show up to a pool hall wearing all black with big black sunglasses. They meet JT, Vinny offers to kick the shit out of JT (instead of killing him) to collect the 200 that JT shorted Lisa in a previous game of pool. What I thought was the most interesting is that right before they are about to fight, Vinny asks JT to make sure he has the 200 dollars on him, expecting to win and take the money. JT says that he doesn’t have it, Vinny doesn’t seem too surprised in this situation, and I think this exchange is to show the audience that this is a very normal conversation that Vinny has. One that happens so frequent, he has already “learned the hard way” not to fight someone for money, unless they actually have all of the money. As Vinny is leaving the pool hall, he confronts the man in the neck-brace again and asks him, what I suppose is the next most popular “winnable” personal injuy case, “Did you fall on someone else’s property?” When the answer was “No”, Vinny shook his head in disappointment and
By July 16th, 2008, the police drove all over to try to find Caylee and the babysitter. Casey had them drive places she knew Gonzalez hung out a lot, it ranged from a supermarket to a nightclub to even a retirement home. The police drew the line after they went to the apartment complex where Gonzalez was supposedly staying and found it has been vacant for months. Later the police started to feel that Casey was putting them on a wild goose chase, when she took them to Universal Studios c...

Yet Kate is not just a victim of this irresponsible behavior. She contributes to it. She, too, makes excuses for her actions, making it seem as though she cannot be any more culpable for her conduct than she already is. She tells Chris that she and Joe "'are stupid people. We don't know anything'" and tells Chris that he has to protect them (633).
taking Chiquita to jail. She is left to ponder what is going on with Beto,

After Rachel swatted Chandler with her magazine she looked admiringly at her husband. "Ross that was beautiful. I agree, an intimate disclosure of our feelings and attitudes (9. Personal Phase, Haun 48) would be so refreshing compared to the boring ritualistic office small talk I 'm used to.” Rachel assured.

On Saturday, September 9th, 2017, at 2034 hours, I was dispatched to 3217 Grouper Rd in reference to a domestic violence incident that had just occurred.
Miles, Chip and her were playing truth or dare while they were all drunk. Alaska got dared to kiss Miles and they went a little too far with it. Chip talked to Alaska’s boyfriend, Jake, on the phone a few weeks after Alaska died trying to figure out what she was doing that night. Miles didn't want to hear about what Jake had to say and Chip got mad. Chip said to Miles, “And if she were still here, we both know that she would still be Jake’s girlfriend and that there’d be nothing but drama between the two of you - not love, not sex, just you pining after her and her like, ‘you're cute Pudge, but I love Jake.’ If she loved you so much, why did she leave you that night? And if you loved her so much, why’d you help her go? I was drunk. What’s your excuse?” (Green 171) Miles thinks that Alaska liked him more than Jake and Miles wanted Alaska to break up with him. But Chip thinks that if Alaska were still with them, she would be flirting with other guys, not just
When Frankie pushed past Joan to get to the door, I was rooting for her to get out. However, when Matthew stepped in front of her, I knew that it was all over. When the door opened, I was hoping for it to be a cop, but it was his friend Adrian, who introduced Matthew to the sex trafficking industry.
Toddlers are the epitome of curiosity and energy. From ages 1 – 3, toddlers are always on the go and want to learn about everything in their world. As with infants, no two are alike; each toddler is unique in his or her developmental stages, and each accomplishes milestones at different times. “Although children develop at different rates, there are common stages of development that serve as guidelines for what most children can do by a certain age” (Groark, McCarthy & Kirk, 2014). As seen in the hatfieldmomof3 (2011) video, one observes toddlers at play and can determine the age of the toddlers by their actions and the milestones they have accomplished.
Joey didn’t know what Erik meant, but Erik insulted him and his brother Mike. “Erik said “Hey, check it out. It’s Mohawk Man’s brother.” (#113-2). Erik, was insulting Joey, about when Joey pulled off Mike’s shoes when Mike was dead. Once he asked Paul about what Erik was talking about,. Paul remembered Erik laughing with his friend in the back yard about Mike, then hesitated when Joey asked again. Although Paul eventually told Joey what Erik meant. Now Joey wants to punch Erik for what he said to him, about his brother Mike. Thus leading Paul to become angry and scared of Erik even
Yunior cheats on Magda with Cassandra while the relationship between him and Magda was distant and they barely got to see each other. Magda finds out that Yunior was cheating on her because her friend Claribel wrote a letter to her , telling her in details what Yunior did. Diaz makes the story realistic by both of them breaking up , but then Magda takes him back. She becomes curios if Yunior felt something for Magda or if she was better than her so she asked him questions. Although when she asked him these types of questions it was in the dark. Yunior says, “usually in the dark , when we couldn’t see each other. Magda Asked me if I’d loved Cassandra….Do you still think about her?....Did you like fucking her?” He would always say “No” to all these type of questions. Later on in the story he says, “The first night we did it- and it was good , too, she wasn’t false advertising,” he lies to her . He couldn’t accept the responsibility of at least telling her the truth but that’s why he tells her this in the dark because he cannot say the truth to her looking at her.
...cy’s life on that fateful night. The man told me something along the lines of “Had we not stopped, Stacy would have lain on the ground for about 5 minutes, woken up, walked back home to Justin, and been beaten even more” Then he told me something that took me a moment to comprehend. “Stacy is pregnant and had been basically drinking herself and the baby to death. Although there is a bright side, Stacy sobered up and confessed to Justin’s abuse and now has a recovery plan and wants to start up a new life.”
