Chase Bank and Bank of America: Two Commercials for One Purpose

Using technology makes everything easier. Recently, most companies depend on technology to provide many services for consumers. Banks are one of the sectors that relied on technology dramatically in order to provide better services to their customers. Chase Bank and Bank of America are two of the biggest banks in the US. Although each bank has made its own commercial regarding to using the application vie smartphones, there is a great similarity between them in terms of people, the style and the main idea. Chase Bank is one of the most popular banks in America, and uses famous person, great design and clear idea in the commercial to attract viewers. The first similarity is using a famous person in the commercial. As mentioned earlier, Chase Bank uses the tennis legend Serena Williams. Likewise, Bank of America uses Manny Streetz who is a famous radio presenter. In this aspect, we can understand that there is a relationship between using a famous person in the advertisement and the financial return to the company. The second similarity is the design of these commercials. Both advertisements are so close to the reality. In Chase bank's commercial, most of the shots are taken in a real competition that Serena plays in. At the same time, most of the shots in Bank of America's commercial are taken in the studio where Manny spends most of the day in.
