Do the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few? The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few with some exceptions. In this essay will explain why the needs of the many of the many outweigh the needs of the few in some cases. This is not something new or rare in the world. This is something very common in history and in society. Sometimes the sacrifice is worth it and sometimes is not. Also sometimes humans have to decide if they’re going to sacrifice the life of many for many more. In situations it’s very easy to decide because of the ignorance of important leaders and in other times it’s very difficult to decide because great leaders have a great moral compass and they care about their people.

In the book Ender’s Game this question is the main theme of the book. This situation where one living human just as equal as everybody is sacrificed for the possible survival of human race is repeated many times throughout the book. But is it moral? In my opinion I don't think that annihilating the buggers was a worthy reason. They could’ve sacrifice less or a similar amount to prepare him in case anything happened. If I’m wrong and the buggers would’ve killed or annihilated the human race, because they didn’t attack first at least the would’ve died for an honorable reason. I don’t think that what matters the mosts is if you were right in sacrificing someone. What matters the most is if you did it for a worthy reason or at least for what you thought was right.
