There are many things that shape and change a societies culture. social organization, social classes, Government, religion, language, economic systems, art, literature, customs and trades. The three main things that shape a country would be social classes, Government and religion, during the post-war era. Canadian and American culture was changing. The main things that changed might have been the same, but there was many thing that were different. Everywhere has social classes, some more obvious then others. Government were created to provide for the people and their common needs. During his time Government had made many changes, which in turn changed Canadian culture. The Conquest of 1759 - 60, British ideas were introduced into Canada. With the structure of a colonial government, local elites were created, such as Upper Canada's Family Compact. The Governments inventiveness helped launch the Canadian Pacific Railway and western settlement. Meanwhile, immigration policy determined the Prairies' traditional mix. In America during this time, the Government had changed many things. Gay right would start a movement in 1969, because of the Government. Religion is one of the many things that shape a country and has changed culture. During this time, many discriminate against anything that was different to what Canadian had grown up in.Multiculturalism is a big part of Canada today, it is a main component to Canadian culture, this was not the case during this era.Most common religions during this time was Christianity. To what many people forecast during this time, religion has remained as vibrant and vital a part of American culture as in generations past. New issues and interests have emerged, but religion's role in many American's lives remains
