Introduction
American civil war, the first modern war with massive armies, a lot of new and good weapons and forced enrollments which led to the bloodiest war in the American history. With almost 751 000 thousand casualties. More than two percent of the population in America died in the four year war. How come? How could such a bloody civil war break out in one of the most civilized countries of the world and what was the effect and consequences

Effects of the American civil war
The consequences of such a massive and long war was many. If we start with the most obvious consequence, the enormous number of casualties from both north and south states. 751 000 people died in the war perhaps even more and a lot of injured people too. This was naturally tough for the families and those affected but even the country was influenced seriously as the working population was reduced. 1
After rain comes sun, America became a more united country and in combination with the huge immigration, who comes with labour and new ideas grew America explosively and the economy becomes stronger.
As the northern states were declared winners of the war, it became their politics that became reality and the most obvious action was the abolishment of the international racial slavery finally succeeded and all slaves becomes free. However, it is very important to add that far from all discrimination of Afro-American disappear because of the Jim Crow laws, which decelerated about 10 years after the civil wars end.
