Introduction: Fitbit will face challenges if they do not develop upgraded features. The current Fitbit helps consumers track steps, active minutes, sleep tracking, continuous heart rate, and the list goes on. These technologies appealed to consumers (Case Exhibit 2), and it showed Fitbit how people reacted positively to the new features, like the longer battery life. However, before any new features are introduced, Fitbit should focus on quality and valued data. For example, like I stated before if a person has a specific medical condition, Fitbit could give specific recommendations to keep track of the condition. It is expected that in the future there will be a primary care shortage (Case Exhibit 2). The shortage combined with aging population could result in improper healthcare for the majority of the population. Fitbit will be an easy option for the younger and older people in need of assistance with health problems. The new features will inspire young people to become more aware of health problems before they get
