A basic high school diploma is needed, and most photographers complete postsecondary coursework or hold a degree. The level of education in photography all goes back to the individual wanting to become a professional photographer. Vocational training and knowledge of equipment, good technical abilities, or an associate’s degree might be adequate for some positions in the photography world. To provide a more range of options for a career and betterment, a Bachelor of Arts should be considered. Bachelor’s degrees normally include art, marketing, business, and other courses to enhance one’s education. Another benefit of a bachelor’s degree program is a polished portfolio, which is often a requirement for graduation. Photography courses go over the technical aspects of taking and handling professional cameras. Subjects that are covered in this type of coursework would include; photography history and theory, and relevant photography techniques. Getting work experience while enrolled in school also helps prepare for the photography field. While internships and summer related jobs are good, school newspaper, yearbooks, magazines, newsletters, and clubs can give you publishing opportunities to have photographs displayed and publicized. Before finally deciding on my career path, I had a very hard time trying to choose which path I wanted to take. After considering what I truly enjoy doing and what skills I possess, I have decided that I wanted to become a graphic designer. I want to be a graphic designer, because I feel that I would have a chance to use all of the skills I possess and be happy while doing it. In order to become a graphic designer, there are certain educational requirements that must be met. There are also specific job requirements that I must accomplish. Although there are many requirements, the personal benefits I gain will make up for all of the hard work in the end.

What is a photograph? Now, one might say a photograph is an image taken of oneself, another person(s), and/or a place using a camera. Others might say that a photograph is an image of a moment or memory captured in time that will be forever remembered. Both are correct of course, but I believe a photograph has the potential of meeting both of those ideas. In addition, pictures exist to portray any image of ourselves that we want noticed by the world.

What some people haven’t realized is that photography is all around us, whether it is in the person’s mind to see it or not. While we see photography throughout our daily routine, people dismiss the small types of photography and focus on the bigger sceneries like other countries beautiful cities and landscapes. It’s true that in this day and age, most photographs we see have been altered in some way. When photographers use Photoshop to edit our photos, we use many different ways to make that image appealing to the eye. Although, photographers unless told to do so will not change an image into something totally absurd that takes away from being astatically pleasing. Photography is an affection, a craving and an addiction. It is impossible to explain why people love taking photos, but once people are engaged in photography professionally, nothing will stop them. It has always been a great magic and momentous secret which opens the world to the people, which makes us look at the things used to be taken for granted with special attitude, which makes us ponder over the existing problems. Photography can truly be considered a magical act – here is a little black box that can capture the images of people and wild animals, strange places, and loved ones on a rectangular piece of paper that can be viewed days and years later.
