Becoming a Physical Therapist Have you ever thought about being a physical therapist? A physical therapist helps rehabilitate people, a child who threw out his arm they would work with him to make his arm better. When my little brother was sick I remember he went to a physical therapist and I saw them work with him. That's why I want to be a physical therapist. I believe that college is important is important in order to become a successful physical therapist. To become a physical therapist there a certain job tasks, special skills, and talents, as well as a higher education is needed. The most important tasks when becoming a physical therapist are you will need to plan, alleviate pain, and identifying problems. Also included is evaluating data and determining diagnosis. Some skills you will need to become a physical therapist are reading comprehension, critical thinking, talking to patients, and active listing. Some related jobs are health specialists teacher, postsecondary, nursing instructor and teachers, and occupational therapist. Those were the job outlook, potential income, and related jobs. In order to become a physical therapist I will need to have special skills, higher education, I will need to have a plan, and I would need to be able to handle the job tasks.
