Careers like an actress, a doctor, and a policeman all have responsibilities. The career must have some type of education in order to be successful. In order to achieve in a career there are steps a person must go through to receive want they want. Some students do internships to see if the career they chose works for them and gives them an idea of what they would be doing if they had been starting their career.
Career means an occupation undertaken for a significant period of a person’s life and with opportunities for progress. Occupation means a job or profession. Also, Jennifer Lawrence achieved her goals by having her mind set in pursuing a specific career that she wanted; being an actress has been her profession all throughout her life. On the other hand, The career of a doctor like Alfred Blalock have a huge responsibility because when a person’s life ends up in the hands of the doctor he has to make the hard and difficult decisions. A doctor career requires earning a doctoral degree in medicine and Alfred Blalock did it. He pursued his career by going to University of Georgia to study medicine, he then became a surgeon. He achieved his achievements by being a hard worker and wanted to continue with school to pursue his career.However, a career of a police officer usually takes place outside and being out in the danger risking their lives trying to protect the people and city. In order to achieve this career, a policeman requires at least 21 years of age, a clean record, have a high school diploma and be a graduate of their agency’s training academy. After taking all of these steps the police officer has achieved his standards and now he can start his career as an officer. His senior year he knew that if he didn’t had a profession in his life later on he wouldn’t be able to support his family or have a decent life. Later on, at the end of his senior year in high school he decided to settle and said that he wanted to be a Physical Therapist. His career as a Physical therapist took him 6 years in school now he has his Doctoral degree and he enjoys his career. He’s planning on going back to school so he can study and learn more.
