Carcinogens
Did you know that there are carcinogens in tobacco? Well, did you know that there are also carcinogens in the food we eat, such as dairy and meat? Many types researches say many things have “carcinogens”, and many things are the type of foods we eat. Firsts, carcinogen can cause many things and carcinogens do not cause cancer in every case, all the time. Secondly, “carcinogens” studies are finding ways that animals and human beings can have carcinogens. Lastly, there are many types of processed meats that have carcinogens and also real meat. Carcinogens can cause the body's cells to divide at a faster than normal rate, which could increase the chances that DNA changes will occur.

“For a food to be carcinogenic, there must be strong evidence linking consumption of the product to an increased incidence of specific cancers, as well as evidence about how that food can cause cancer to develop.” Many of the meats, processed in factories have carcinogens. For example, bacon, sausages, hot dogs, pepperoni,prosciutto, beef jerky, and salami have been preserved by curing, salting or smoking, or by adding chemical preservatives(Cancer Helpline). The real meat we eat such as beef, veal, pork, lamb, mutton, horse, and goat also have carcinogens.The reason why red meat and processed meats are carcinogenic is due to the chemicals they contain. Many scientific studies have suggested that dairy products may be linked to increased risk for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and possibly for ovarian and breast cancers. Hot and alcoholic beverages also have carcinogens(Cancer Helpline).
