Recommended: History of medical marijuana essay

What is your first reaction when you think about cannabis seeds? Any of the subsequent would be your answer: substance misuse, drugs, illegal activities, narcotics? Right? Contrary to popular belief, cannabis is NOT a narcotic it has no narcotic properties.

What Is Cannabis?

The scientific name of the cannabis plant is Cannabis sativa. Also known as marijuana or hemp, this place enjoys a notorious reputation throughout the world as a narcotic-type drug. Owing to this misconception, many countries in the world have declared cannabis seeds, any derivative products and even their possession as illegal.

Fortunately, there are many countries which recognize the beneficial properties of cannabis and engage in developing the crop on huge scales.
