A constitutional challenge with regards to the segregation laws in Canada has been issued by a civil liberties group, The Canadian Civil Liberties Association. Jonathan Lisus, a lawyer of The Canadian Civil Liberties Association, presented the argument that the current administrative segregation practice by the federal government is inherently unconstitutional.
