Camping is a really great getaway from the busy city life. It is the time to bond with nature and experience a one of a kind feeling. Camping is also an activity which may help you realize the importance of Mother Nature to everyone. Still, camping can get boring for kids especially they are not used to being away from their computers and electronic gadgets for too long. Some camp sites have bikes for rent, or if you want to save, you can bring your own. Make sure you don't go too far when you are biking and always check if there's someone left behind. Remember not to be carried away by the beauty and get too far. Make sure to bring a handheld radio or a map of the place. If you are planning to go biking, then go nature-seeing at the same time. Ask your children what animals they would love to see and dare them o find the animals. Keep them under supervision and set certain boundaries. How about playing tug of war and other outdoor games? We know that you do not take submissions, but we would love to at least be considered to be included in your wonderful book series. Kansas really deserves a book more than any other state because Kansas usually gets a bad rap from other states. Many people in other states tend to think that Kansas is a very boring and dull state. Well this book may show people that Kansas is not what they think it is. We want to show people what Kansas is really about.

The finish line ribbon is broken, and the crowd goes ecstatic as the announcer says, “And the winner of this year’s Iditarod race is…” The Iditarod is a sled dog racing competition located in Alaska. The race consists of a 1000 mile course to the village of Nome to celebrate the dog sledding team that delivered crucial medicine to the village of Nome that stopped a fatal diphtheria outbreak. And although some say the the Iditarod is cruel and abusive to dogs, the race should continue because it is an excellent way to commemorate an important event in Alaska’s history and allows dogs to perform their natural calling: running.
